First Pattern Design of 2022

My first pattern of 2022 is nearing completion!

The month of January has been a little bit busier than I anticipated. I haven’t been able to sit down and get as much design work done as I would like to. This week has been a little more productive and I’ve finally been able to finish up my first pattern for this year!

This little Gamer Kitty sits about 8.5 inches tall and holds his own mini Gameboy-inspired console while wearing a cozy hoodie.

I’m still working out some minor details and making another in a different color variation. I’ll share more photos soon!

I want this pattern to be super customizable! There will be lots of ways to customize this pattern with color variations and different gaming consoles that will be included in the pattern! I think it would be cool to also make different animal designs based on this pattern.
