Free Mr. Saturn Amigurumi Pattern

A few notes before we begin:
-While creating this amigurumi you will work in continuous rounds, unless told otherwise.
-When I am creating an amigurumi based on a certain character I like to look at reference pictures of the character I am creating. It really helps when assembling the pieces and making the facial features!
-Your finished amigurumi should measure about 5 to 6 inches tall, depending on yarn type and tension.

Close off…
Eyebrows
Cut two eyebrows from the black felt, they are long and oval-ish in shape. It helps to look at reference pictures of Mr. Saturn to get a good idea of how big the eyebrows should be and how they should be spaced out on the face.
The eyebrows I have cut are approximately 1 1/2 inch long and ¾ inch wide.
Whiskers
Cut five sections of black pipe cleaners roughly 6 inches in length. You can trim them up if needed once they are attached to the face.
Bowtie
Use the red felt. Cut a bowtie shape out of the red felt. Then cut out a small square of the red felt. The small square will be glued to the front and center of the bowtie shape to look like a knot.
Assembly
Now that we have all the pieces we can start assembly! Looking at reference pictures of Mr. Saturn can be very helpful during the assembly process.
-Sew the nose onto the front of the face.
-Before you close off the body attach the safety eyes and the whiskers. To attach the whiskers, make a small knot at the end of the pipe cleaners. Push the pipe cleaner from the inside to the outside of the body with the knot on the inside. The knot will keep the whiskers from falling out.
-Glue the eyebrows to the face.
-Sew the feet to the bottom of the body.
-Glue the Bowtie to the top whisker/hair on the head.
